It can become tiring to constantly explain people’s misplaced concerns about my daily protein intake.   I know people mean well and want what’s best for me, but believe it when I tell you, as a vegan I get plenty of protein. ‘Tis The Season for Giving!

tis the seasonAccording to the Giving USA Foundation, charitable giving in the United States reached an estimated $358 billion dollars last year with $258 billion coming from individuals.

It’s amazing to think that millions of people each year donate to charity for the sake of making the world a better place, one dollar at a time.  At a time where we see so much violence on TV and hear stories of death and destruction, it’s nice to know that there are still so many people out there who are kind, who are charitable, and who are working to help make the world a better place. The odds of coming in first place in the London Marathon 1 in 38,000

The odds of being diagnosed with Autism 1 in 68

This year, I have been selected to run for Team Up with Autism Speaks on their elite London Marathon Team.  The marathon will take place on April 24, 2016 and I have pledged to raise $10,000 for this great cause.  Running to help cure autism is something that I am driven to do and being able to participate in one of the World’s Major Marathons is an awesome bonus!london Continue reading London Marathon 2016!

The Element

the elementRecently, I attended a workshop that focused on the book The Element written by Sir Ken Robinson. In his book, Sir Ken Robinson talks about self fulfillment and creativity. He helps his readers understand that “The Element” is when natural talent meets personal passion and that when people finally arrive at “The Element” they feel most themselves, most inspired, and achieve at their highest levels.

The NyayYC Marathon (or NYC’s biggest block party) is made famous first by its people (the crowds of support) and next by its hills, bridges, and long straightaways.
