My mom is one of the strongest and most incredible woman I know. My mom has worked hard to provide a stable foundation for my life and future. She’s taught me invaluable lessons about life and love and for that I’m extremely grateful.
Whether it’s practical or ethical advice, her words always gave me something to live by and to believe in. The things she has taught me over the years has really stuck with me and at times I will hear her words leave my mouth. When this happens I can’t help but laugh. I knew one day I’d turn into my mom! Except, I don’t’ think it’s such a bad thing.
Thanks mom for your unconditional love and pearls of wisdom over the years.
- Look at the world and see the potential of things.
- She has taught me what unconditional love is.
- To believe people are good. That there are nice people everywhere, but sometimes you just have to look for them.
- Always pursue your dreams.
- It’s ok to walk to the beat of your own drum.
- Fight for what you want. Nothing that’s handed to you on a silver platter is worth having. And nothing worth having will be handed to you.
- There is a big difference between listening and being quiet while waiting for your turn to talk. Listen to what others have to say, carefully and whole heartedly.
- Fall in love as often as you can. Fall in love with songs, with books, with places, and fall in love with people. But above all, fall in love with yourself.
- Make mistakes. Lots and lots of them. But learn from every single one. And never make the same mistake twice.
- Actions speak louder than words. Be kind always!
- Never forget where home is.
- You’re never too old to need your mom!!
Thank you mom work instilling in me the drive and desire to succeed! I love you!
Happy Mother’s Day! xoxo
